Wonderful Produce —
Enjoy and Support the Temple

While the Temple remains closed our members have reached out to community partners to develop fundraisers — which brings us to Yasukochi Farms.

Special Produce Boxes

Yasukochi Farms practice Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) by selling farm fresh produce directly to people in produce boxes filled with seasonal fruits and vegetables. In the Temple’s fundraiser, Yasukochi will supply boxes as ordered for July 25 and provide a donation to the Temple for each sale.

Purpose of the Fundraiser

Proceeds from this fundraiser go to our General Fund to allow the Temple to continue operations. Even if we close our doors until it is safer for people to venture into social gatherings, our fixed costs remain the same. Fundraisers today mean we will be able to open our doors when it is safe to do so.

Tax Status of Your Expenditure

Because you are receiving full value for the money you provide, your payment is not a donation that would qualify as a charitable deduction for income tax purposes.
