Buddhism 1-2-3

Buddhism 1-2-3 is a Wednesday night Zoom class, led by Certified Minister’s Assistant Bill Teague and other Minister’s Assistants and Dharma Friends.

Buddhism 1-2-3 is the Temple’s Wednesday night informal and open class that includes chanting, meditation, and Dharma discussion. The 1-2-3 of the title refers to the three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and other groupings of three. Sessions typically run from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Other opportunities to learn more about Buddhism at the Temple include Buddhism Zero and Intro to Buddhism.

Note: Chanting and meditation are currently available at the Temple in these formats:

CHANTING: Sunday Chanting Class. Ministerial Assistants Rev. Laverne Imori and Rev. Maribeth Smith host a chanting session most Sundays at 9:15 a.m., before the Sunday Service at 10 a.m. Please email the Temple for more information.

Here’s a photo of the class from the pandemic when we met by Zoom.
