Shotsuki Hoyo and a Deeper Understanding of Duality; with Yukari Williams

Kenji Sensei reads the names of loved ones who passed away in September over the years so that we continue to remember and honor them in the Shotsuki Hoyo ritual. In his English Dharma Message, Sensei continues his exploration of duality. The talk clarifies the Buddhist path an "either/or" mentality to an "and/both" understanding. This deeper understanding, he suggests, leads us to oneness and a way to live in this world non-dualistically. We are grateful to Ministerial Assistant Yukari Williams for sharing her thoughts in a message in Japanese, "Amida Sama Is Always with Us."

For convenience we have also posted Yukari Williams’ talk as a stand-alone video.
