Announcing 2021 Board of Directors

Board Membership Confirmed at General Meeting

At the Temple’s General Membership Meeting on January 31, 2021, members approved the next two years for roughly half of the Board. (Each year roughly half of the candidates are renewed or added to the Board for the next two years, so the slate alternates each year.)

Who Elects the Officers?

Many people assume the general membership elects the board officers, but actually, as with most nonprofits, our By-Laws stipulate that the elected members of the Board confirm the slate of officers each year.

The Board met on Thursday, Feb. 12, shortly after the General Meeting, and voted for executive officers and confirmed board membership as follows.

 After the vote, Rev. Kenji Akahoshi officialy installed the Board, and Kimberly Kruse saved the Zoom screen shot that appears above. LuAnn Lee, Board President, thanked the newly installed Board members for their efforts.
