Our own Kenji Sensei is the featured speaker for a two-day retreat in Thousand Oaks early next month!
Sponsored by Sesshin Buddhist Temple, this Nembutsu Seminar is held at the Palm Gardens Hotel, in a retreat format, about 165 miles north of the San Diego Temple. Google Maps shows this as a roughly three hour-drive. If you are interested in attending but need a ride, please let our Temple know and we will try to link you up with other Temple members.
The event starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 1 and concludes at 1 pm Sunday, February 2.
Registration and Other Fees. The registration fee is $40 and the venue hotel $130 a night; the hotel has a complimentary breakfast for guests and all attendees may join a set dinner Saturday for $30 and a lunch on Sunday at $25. Saturday lunch is on your own.
