Just practice good, do good for others, without thinking of making yourself known so that you may gain reward. Really bring benefit to others, gaining nothing for yourself. This is the prime requisite for breaking free of attachment to self. — Dōgen Zenji

The Buddhist Temple of San Diego, through its Dana Group, is supporting Streets of Hope, an organization with a vision to give hope to those who live on the streets of San Diego.

We will need gently used warm clothing items such as jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, socks, etc. Your donations, as always, will be greatly appreciated.

This drive is running through November  24th.

About Streets of Hope

This organization’s vision is to give hope to those who live on the streets of San Diego.  It desires to see the quality of their lives enhanced in every way: emotionally, intellectually, physically and spiritually.

The Streets of Hope mission is to build a community where those who have much can serve and give to those who have little, because it believes that real transformation happens through relationship in community.
