We Remember Loved Ones in March (Shotsuki Hoyo)
JOIN US for our monthly memorial service, Shotsuki Hoyo and our first Sunday Service in March. We join to remember loved ones who passed away over the years, in the month of March. The service allows us to express our gratitude for their role in our lives, as we hear the Dharma.
Rev. Laverne Shidou Imori will officiate and provide the Dharma for our youth. Certified MA Bill Teague will share a few words with Dharma School students, and Certified MA Yukari Williams will share a Japanese Howa.
Our High School Class will chair the service, and Robert Yamamoto, guitarist, will provide musical accompaniment.
If you are not able to join in person, we plan to livestream the service in real time on our YouTube channel page.
Schedule
Optional: 9:15 a.m., BTSD Chanting Group, New members welcome.
10:00 a.m. Shotsuki Hoyo Service
10:40 a.m. Dharma School students excused to individual classes.
11:30 a.m. or later, the service will conclude, followed by hospitality
in our dining room, one floor below the Hondo on the Office Level.
Japanese speakers are encouraged to stay for the Japanese Howa from Certified Minister’s Assistant Yukari Williams.
