New people are welcome. 

Note: The Intro to Buddhism Class will NOT be held today .but will return in September. However, our Officiant and Dharma speaker will stay after to ask questions. 

START OF SERVICE

Rev. Hōkai  "Smitty" Smith will lead the service.
Andrea Covarrubias will chair the service.
Rev. Smitty will present scholarship awards.
Bill Teague will give the Dharma talk.
Robert Yamamoto will provide musical accompaniment. 
Rev. Smitty and Bill will remain in the Hondo.

NOTE: .The Intro to Buddhism Class, with Kaytee Sumida, Minister's Assistant, returns in September, meeting at 9 a.m. on the last Sunday of each month. The course sketches the history of Buddhism and the background on our Jodo Shinshu tradition.
