Our Temple in the Community

BTSD’s own Taiko and Odori groups continue to perform throughout San Diego County, most recently close to home at San Diego State University. There, on Tuesday, April 9, they entertained the Spring Matsuri (festival), hosted by the SDSU Japan Students Association.

The Spring Matsuri also featured performances of koto, Japanese flute (used for beat-boxing), kendo, and Japanese hula. Games and food booths added even more fun to the celebration. Learn more here.
