Yasukochi Farms Consumer Supported Agriculture Boxes

Many Temple members and Dharma Friends have already discovered the regular or jumbo produce boxes from Yasukochi Farms. Supporting responsible agricultural methods, each box contains a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Each box contains 11-15 items more quantity of the items in the Jumbo Box.

  • Regular Box: 1-3 People for the Week, $25.

  • Jumbo Box: 4-6 People for the Week, $35,

Strawberries — Yum!

Thanks to the use of greenhouses, local farmers can provide fresh strawberries all year long. The order includes three baskets combined in a box as shown. Each three-pack box is $10.

Face Masks

Temple volunteers have tailored one-of-a-kind face masks for only $5. Many fabric options will be available at pickup, and you can make your selection then.

Order Offline. You may send this completed form and payment to the “Buddhist Temple of San Diego, Attn: Yasukochi Farms", 2929 Market St., San Diego, CA 92102. Must be received by November 21, 2021.

Pay by Other Means. You can mail check to Buddhist Temple of San Diego, 2929 Market Street, San Diego, CA 92102.  We can match your check up to the online order submitted. If you wish to pay cash, call Temple ahead of time to srop it off when someone is in the office to receive it securely.

Note: You don’t have to have a PayPal account to use the link to pay by your credit or debit card. You can use the link as a guest to proceed. Many Temple members and Dharma Friends appreciate the convenience of using PayPal.

More About Produce Boxes

In each CSA box, you can expect:

·       A box of farm fresh produce grown using responsible farming methods.

·       Most products grown using organic farming methods when possible. All products are grown by responsible food and safety conscious farmers.

·       The majority of the freshly picked produce is grown by Yasukochi Family Farms located in Oceanside and other local partner growers. Staples may be supplemented as needed.

  • Boxes are catered to each season and will be given a variety of handpicked produce.

  • Each Box will contain 11-15 different produce items.
